**PLEASE NOTE YAMI AND YUGI HAVE SEPARATE BODIES**

Yami stood looking out the window in Yugi's small bedroom, knowing exactly what he was going to say. He had to tell him, had to tell him he had to leave to return to Egypt. He sighed, closing his eyes and holding his loose fist to his mouth. Now that Yugi was going to be home soon, Yami's confidence was fading. There was something holding him back from telling Yugi that he had to leave.
He eyes flew open and looked down at the Millennium Puzzle around his neck. He had been through so much with Yugi, and now he was leaving. Lightly tracing his index finger across the marking on the puzzle, Yami smiled. There was so much between him and Yugi that only they themselves knew. Nobody could compare what they had with what Yami and Yugi had.
"Yami!" came a sudden cry, and Yami was almost knocked over by the force that had thrown itself at him. He heard laughing and felt pressure around his waist. When he turned his head to see what was  holding him, he found a smiling Yugi. "I am so happy to see you!" he closed his eyes and gave Yami a small closed-mouth smile. Yami's heart fluttered a little bit at that small smile, but kept his cool.
"Your home early," he smiled, his heart aching at what he was about to tell Yugi. When Yugi stared at Yami in confusion, Yami knew he would never, ever forget Yugi. "But Yami, I always get home at this time," Yugi blinked. Slowly, he unwrapped his arms from around the Pharaoh and looked up at him with worried purple eyes. "Yami, you don't look so good. Are you feeling alright?" The younger boy stood on the tips of his feet to gently place his fingers on Yami's forehead. "You don't have a fever, but you look pretty hot." Yugi mused, unaware of the red on Yami's cheeks. Sighing, Yami pushed the younger boy's hand away and smiled. "I'm fine Yugi," he smiled, but it faltered at the end. He wasn't fine. He was about to leave everything that he had. His friends, his enemies, his Yugi.
Yami blinked, unaware where that last part had come from. His Yugi? That was hardly true. Well sure he had borrowed his body in the past but that didn't mean he was entitled to call Yugi his. "Yugi, I have something I want to tell you," Yami said, afraid that Yugi would know what was coming and accept it. Yugi's eyes sparkled and he grinned. "I do too Pharaoh! I wanted to invite you to dinner with me and Grandpa!"
Speechless, the Ancient Egyptian looked at Yugi with wide purple eyes. "With your Grandpa? Yugi, I don't know. I don't want to be a bother." Yugi frowned at the floor and then spoke softly. "Don't you want to be with me?" Yami's eyes grew even wider at he looked down at Yugi. "Of course I do," he replied, and then smiled and ruffled Yugi's spiked hair. Grinning, Yugi laughed and grabbed the Pharaoh's hand. Tugging him out the door, he starting telling Yami about where they were going and how amazing the food was. All the time Yami was smiling. He loved being with Yugi, loved his lightheartedness and child-like personality. Suddenly, a thought occurred to a him. What had held him back from telling Yugi he was leaving?
